Before & After
Brockton Day Nursery offers year round before and aftercare for the school age children. During the school year children are brought to the center via bus or arrive with their parents. They are offered buffet style breakfast and have a chance to play with their peers prior to the busses returning and bringing them to school to start their academic day.

When the public schools let out in the afternoon the children are once again brought to BDN via bus. At this time in the day, we provide a buffet style snack and help the children settle in to do their homework, teacher directed activities and open ended play. Some children are picked up by their parents later in the afternoon, while others will be brought home via BDN transportation. We try to ensure that the children get as much help with their school work as possible and focus on any areas that they may be struggling with academically.
Summer School - Aged
During the summer months many of our school aged children are transported to and from the center via our van service. Our current summer program is theme based. With the help of the children the teachers develop a theme to carry out throughout the summer curriculum. BDN has partnered with the local public pool so that the children can swim during the hot summer days. We also do educational field trips during the summer to keep the children motivated about learning.
